For this service, Pastor Fred drew up a special sermon to celebrate our nation's Independence Day, titled The Cost of Freedom. As this was a special sermon specific to July 4th, this marks the first and only week covering this topic.
We also sang patriotic hymns "The Star-Spangled Banner", "Mine Eyes Have Seen the Glory", and "America the Beautiful". As always, all hymns are taken out of the 1991 edition of the Baptist Hymnal.

So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death. (Romans 8:1-2 NLT)
