June 8th, 2025 Service

June 9, 2025, 8:00 AM

Howdy folks! We hope you're having a blessed morning. 🙏

We want to share yesterday's service with you on our YouTube page. 😊✝

We kept on with the second half of Romans 15 this week, beginning a topic titled "A 2,000 Mile Detour". This is our first week of several covering this topic, and our 95th week in the Roaming Through Romans series overall. We also sang hymns "Jesus Is All the World to Me", "Leaning on the Everlasting Arms", and "Now I Belong to Jesus". All hymns are taken from the 1991 edition of the Baptist Hymnal.

But some of these branches from Abraham’s tree—some of the people of Israel—have been broken off. And you Gentiles, who were branches from a wild olive tree, have been grafted in. So now you also receive the blessing God has promised Abraham and his children, sharing in the rich nourishment from the root of God’s special olive tree. But you must not brag about being grafted in to replace the branches that were broken off. You are just a branch, not the root. (Romans 11:17-18 NLT)
