March Movie Night

February 25, 2024, 6:00 PM

We've set the date for our next movie night! On March 15th, at 7PM, we'll be showing the 2020 Lionsgate movie, I Still Believe. Based on the relationship of Jeremy & Melissa Camp, the film follows him and his wife's testimony in the early days of their marriage. The plot synopsis reads as follows:

Based on a true story, Jeremy Camp goes away to college, with grand dreams of spreading God's Word through music. He soon meets and falls in love with his classmate, Melissa. After an unofficial first date at the beach with their friends, they begin dating. Soon after, Jeremy proposes to Melissa, promising to stay by her side through difficulties and celebrations. Their relationship is tested quickly though, as the newly-weds are rocked by an unexpected illness. Through the shock of this trial, and the reach of Jeremy's upcoming tour with his musical hero, God uses the Camps' story to provide hope to the one who needs it most. One night, after a extraordinarily hard period with Melissa's illness, Jeremy's faith is tested. Melissa asks Jeremy to find a way to ensure her story will be spread as a beacon of light, inspiring him to write... I STILL BELIEVE.

Rated PG (for thematic elements), I Still Believe stars K.J. Apa (Riverdale) as Jeremy Camp, Britt Robertson (Tomorowland, The Space Between Us) as Melissa Henning, and Gary Sinise (Forrest Gump, Apollo 13) as Tom Camp.
