Hello friends! We hope y'all are having a very blessed Monday!
We're proud to share last Sunday's service with you on our YouTube page. 😊✝
For this service, we charged on with our current series, Roaming Through Romans, beginning a new section and topic, titled "What We Have Here Is a Failure To Communicate". This marks the first week covering this topic, and the 61st week in the series overall.
We also sang hymns "Throw Out the Life Line", "Tell It to Jesus", and "Since Jesus Came into My Heart". Hymn "Throw Out the Life Line" is from the Broadman Hymnal (1940 edition), while hymns "Tell It to Jesus" and "Since Jesus Came into My Heart" are from the Baptist Hymnal (1991 edition).
The law of Moses was unable to save us because of the weakness of our sinful nature. So God did what the law could not do. He sent his own Son in a body like the bodies we sinners have. And in that body God declared an end to sin’s control over us by giving his Son as a sacrifice for our sins. He did this so that the just requirement of the law would be fully satisfied for us, who no longer follow our sinful nature but instead follow the Spirit. (Romans 8:3-4 NLT)
