September's Selections

September 19, 2024, 8:00 PM

Hey, long time no see! September has been a delightful month for Bethel, and we've got some updates on recent events that we'd like to share with y'all.

September Children's Dedication

We recently hosted a wonderful dedication ceremony! Recently, some longtime church members contacted us, asking if we could perform a dedication ceremony for their children. It's so important to construct that solid foundation of God for the next generation. They certainly need it, as this crazy world becomes more sin-filled with each passing day.

We dedicated Thomas Boling-Shelley, son of Chris & Xerxes Boling-Shelley; Jameson Gates, son of Kasey & Jordyn Gates; and Eli Lucario, son of Jamie Diane & Vince Lucario. For those that were unable to attend their dedication in-person, we have uploaded the entire ceremony to our YouTube page.

Bethel's Rummage Sale

Alright, take three!

Mark your calendars, folks! On Saturday, October 5th, we will finally be hosting our long-awaited rummage sale. As many know, we were planning on hosting a "garage sale" for the benefit of the church around the beginning of 2020, as we needed to clear out various things from our storage room and classrooms. Sadly, that never came to fruition, as the nation was taken by surprise with the sudden rise of COVID-19.

Fast forward to the beginning of this year, where interest in hosting a rummage sale was sparked again. We'd planned on hosting it just before our 130th anniversary celebration in April, but this time, unfortunately, were barraged with a series of upsets occurring amongst our church members' lives. We decided it best to postpone the sale once again, with intent to reschedule it after summer had ended.

Many of y'all may already know, since we've talked about it during Sunday services for the past several weeks, but we've firmly set the Rummage Sale date for Saturday, October 5th! We've got a lot of great stuff set aside from our collection, as well as many church families' collections.

We'll be out on Saturday the 5th, 8 am to 1 pm, at our great church building. We will be accepting cash only for payment.

Of course, we also have our regular church service at 11am every Sunday.
We look forward to seeing y'all there! 😁

Credit goes to Stephanie Denny for creating this lovely sale flyer. Thank you, Stephanie!
